Molly has danced locally since 1991. She attended the Governor's School for the Arts Summer Program at the University of Richmond during high school. While there she had the opportunity to take classes with Richmond Ballet apprentices as well as several modern dance classes at VCU. As a member of the JHHS Drill/Dance team for four years, she competed in UDA competitions, earning enough ribbons to dance in London's New Year's Day Parade. Molly received a BA from the College of William and Mary, where she was active in the dance department. There she was accepted into the modern dance company, Orchesis (Greek for the art of dance), and had the opportunity to perform and choreograph several pieces as an undergraduate. At home in Winchester, she picked up dance again teaching Ballet Basics for Kids through the Winchester Parks and Rec department over the summer. She looks forward to connecting with students at Rhythm and inspiring a love of dance at any age!
